O tema voltou a ter destaque com a s\u00e9rie hom\u00f4nima da HBO, que foi sucesso de p\u00fablico e de cr\u00edtica, despertando novamente o interesse das pessoas sobre o assunto.<\/p><h4><strong>Um pouco de hist\u00f3ria<\/strong><\/h4><p>O acidente de Chernobyl aconteceu no reator 4 e foi resultado de falha humana, uma vez que os operadores descumpriram diversos itens dos protocolos de seguran\u00e7a. Al\u00e9m disso, relat\u00f3rios apontaram que a usina tinha um grave erro no seu projeto.<\/p><p>Depois da explos\u00e3o do reator, o vento levou o material radioativo para o oeste e norte da cidade de Pripyat, e a radia\u00e7\u00e3o espalhou-se pelo mundo. Na \u00e9poca, o desastre chegou a atingir o n\u00edvel 7 da Escala Internacional de Acidentes Nucleares (INES), considerado o mais grave. O volume de part\u00edculas radioativas foi 400 vezes maior do que o emitido pela bomba at\u00f4mica de Hiroshima, lan\u00e7ada no Jap\u00e3o durante a Segunda Guerra
