O nome SoHo \u00e9 uma abrevia\u00e7\u00e3o de \u201cSouth of Houston\u201d, e j\u00e1 foi um bairro de artistas alternativos, mas agora virou um espa\u00e7o cheio de lojas de grife. \u00e1 TriBeCa \u00e9 a abrevia\u00e7\u00e3o de \u201cTri\u00e2ngulo Abaixo de Canal Street\u201d, que re\u00fane v\u00e1rias galerias de arte, lojas e restaurantes.<\/p><h3><strong>Chinatown e Lower East Side<\/strong><\/h3><p>A regi\u00e3o abrange n\u00e3o apenas o bairro de coloniza\u00e7\u00e3o chinesa, mas tamb\u00e9m o que resta de Little Italy, local em que os imigrantes italianos se estabeleceram no final do s\u00e9culo 19. J\u00e1 o Lower East Side ficou famoso como o bairro judeu.
